The adult kitty vet visit

Yesterday was the adult kitty vet visit. We have it spaced out so that the 3 older cats go to the vet for their annual checkups and shots in the spring and the 2 younger ones go in the fall.

Pickles is calm going but will growl at Cosmo to shut up being as he is vocal the ENTIRE way... from getting into the carrier, to the drive, to waiting in the office (even while holding on for dear life), to during the visit, to after his shots are done, to the drive home and for a short while upon returning home even. Tasha likes to try to hide in her carrier, hoping that the vet won't find her... but that never happens.

They all looked to be in great health and have all lost considerable weight so our latest food switch for them appears to be the right combination. Cosmo and Pickles have both lost over 2 pounds putting them just slightly over 12 lbs each and Tasha lost over a pound putting her at just slightly over 10 lbs. They are almost down to the weight that the vet thinks would be ideal for them and was very happy with how much progress they made in the last year with losing the weight.

Cosmo's paws are also looking great from the switch as the vet thought the puffiness and soreness last fall might be allergy related.
