Countdown... 11 days until...

Christmas is this week but not living near family nor having kids of our own, it isn't a big celebration for us. It will likely be a pretty quiet day spent just the two of us spending time together.

However, I am counting down the days until a very exciting and special day for some friends of mine (as well as for me)... in 11 more days, January 1, 2010 will be upon us and with the new year comes some special, exciting news...

Design House Digital will be opening their online doors to scrapbookers and crafters all around the world!

Over the past month, they have been announcing the designers who will be joining the store. So far, the list of designers include: Deena Rutter, Carina Gardner, Natalie Malan, Meredith Fenwick, and Melissa Esplin. There are still a few more designers to be announced so the excitement continues. It is bound to be a diverse group of designers with varied backgrounds in many different design niches. You can follow the interim DHD blog or become a DHD facebook fan to stay up to date on the newest announcements and going ons.

As you may be aware, I have been CTing for Carina Gardner for the last few months and with Design House Digital's opening, I am excited to say that I will also be joining the DHD family as a CT member; a DHD Decorator.

Just over a week until you all will be able to see what a beautiful site they have in store for us all. I have been lucky enough to get glimpses of some of the products to be offered and swoon... 2010 is going to be a beautiful year full of gorgeous designs.

11 more days... oh how waiting is so hard especially when you have been given a sneak peak and can't wait to start scrapping with it!
